Inspired by a sense of care and compassion for changemakers, The Wellbeing Project (TWP) focuses on cultivating a shift toward healthier and more supportive environments within the social change field. As part of this mission, we seek a dynamic Director/Curator for Fundraising to join our frontline team and work collaboratively to secure funding through multiple channels: foundations, corporations and individuals.

The Fundraising Director will be responsible for securing diverse revenue streams to support the organization’s mission, working alongside two other frontline fundraisers —one focusing on individual donors and the other on foundations. While we are particularly interested in candidates with corporate or foundation fundraising experience, we also welcome those with strong backgrounds in individual fundraising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel fundraising strategy that aligns with TWP’s goals and engages foundations, corporations and individuals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing donors across various sectors.
  • Lead the development of tailored proposals, campaigns, and outreach activities to secure funding.
  • Coordinate efforts with the individual and foundation fundraisers to ensure consistency and alignment of approaches.
  • Represent TWP at key events and networking functions, enhancing visibility and securing new partnerships.
  • Collaborate on high-level initiatives such as the Global Hearth Summit 2025, contributing to corporate and donor engagement strategies.
  • Manage donor reporting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the organization's objectives.
  • Participate in strategic fundraising meetings, contributing to the overall fundraising framework and pipeline development.

PROFILE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Bachelor’s degree in business, international development, or a related field.

6–10 years of experience in nonprofit frontline fundraising, including corporate, individual, or foundation funding.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage donor relationships across sectors.

Proven ability to develop creative, long-term fundraising strategies and secure major gifts.

Experience managing donor databases and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Native or proficient English skills (written and spoken). French or Spanish is a plus.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Ability to travel internationally (4-6 trips per year).

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Opportunity to work on a groundbreaking, international project with far-reaching impact, co-created with leading institutions in social change.
